SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Do not be Lazy! You can Grow Spiritually by Victoria Yoosuff
Ahhh! Elizabeth why are you like this? Who did this to you? Why are you thinking like this? Come out off it. You shall live and not die. The Lord made you the head and not the tail. Don't be timid or fearful, God has not given you the spirit of fear. You too can grow spiritually. Let me tell you my story.
"I didn't know how to read, my parents were poor but God helped me. I heard of a pastor and how he struggled through life, no basic education, no helper but as soon as he got hold of how to grow spiritually he didn't let go of that truth. His life was transformed.
This man taught me about faith in God, His word, prayers, it's power and the rewards for consistency. He told me how he was able to get admission to school, pay its fees, get married and have children. He narrated how he grew spiritually,
Supernatural Grace by Vicola his church expanded and how he won many battles through the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus and spiritual exercises such as shouting Hallelujah! Glory! Thank you Jesus! Praise the Lord!
"Do not ignore the importance of rejoicing in the Lord and praying with the word of God, as they are crucial tools to help you grow."
With the help of my parents I was able to follow these counsel and their lives and my life changed remarkably.
I can now read and write and I am doing well by God's grace. We won the battles too.
1 Corinthians 15:57 "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
My dear you can grow too. Give your life to Jesus Christ. Let him truly be your master. Cultivate a consistent prayer life.
Ask the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Pray daily and in tongues as the Spirit leads. With time and consistency you will be able to spend more quality time with God in prayers.
Romans 8:26 tells us that "...the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
Ensure you take your walk with the Lord serious. Read the word of God-The Holy Bible. Ensure you fast and pray regularly. Luke 18:1 says you should pray always and not faint.
Proverbs 24:10 tell us "If you fail under pressure, your strength is too small." (NIV)
Therefore ask for grace and capacity to grow and become who God wants you to be.
Set your time to pray and fast aside that of your local church. Elizabeth if you want to grow take these seriously. The enemy won't want you to grow spiritually so they do anything and everything possible to stop you on your growth journey. When you start praying during the day or mid night, there will be a lot of offence, distractions, discouragement from loved ones and possibly delay in answers to prayer. These are the devil's tools to make you weary, discouraged and to give up. Just make sure you do not stop on your journey to spiritual growth. The Lord will win all your battles for you in Jesus name.
Colossians 4:2 says "Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;"
Rejoice often, be positive about life, your work and your family. Confess positively about yourself and your situation. Rejoice in advance. Dance and praise the Lord in the mist of the storms and God will come through for you and your family in Jesus name, Amen. Carry your family along. Let your children and your husband pray and praise God with you. Celebration is very close. Do not give up! Jesus loves you. The Lord is ever with you Elizabeth, and so you are more than a conqueror.
