Celebrate Your Parents

Celebrate your parents while you can. Stop waiting till everything is enough or perfect, because life will never be 100% perfect. Go with the flow.

Parents are the best gifts for children. Many parents sacrifice a lot to bring their children into this world. Many parents sacrifice to send them to school, feed them, clothed them and ensure that a child stays alive. Many parents ensure that their child becomes better than they have been.

That is why the Bible says we should Honor our parents in the Lord. We are also admonished to respect and obey them.

Many parents might have made mistakes because they didn't know better, this is not a ground for the children to disobey or disrespect their parents in private or in public. Therefore today decide to respect honor and celebrate your parents because they did the best they could with the resources they had with the knowledge the high and with the time available to them.

I often tell youth and teenagers around me, that they have the best parents God had in store for them. Therefore, they should love, obey, respect, honor and value their parents. I also often tell them to pray for their parents.

Celebrate your parents while you still have them alive or with you. For a Time comes when they will either be sickly, old and sometimes pass on. Celebrate your parents now that they can enjoy the party or the celebration. celebrate your parents now that they can bless you, or they give you a blessing a prayer of blessing. 

Many people who has followed me on social media might have known I heard say that my dad died about 7 years ago. In my own little way, I celebrate it him. I made meals for him. I bought gifts for him in my own little capacity. However, I wish I have done more. Our parents will grow old and die someday so celebrate them now that they are alive instead of waiting for so much money celebrate them with the little that you have.

this is one of the reasons I cherish my mother more than ever before and I choose the celebrate her now. Ichoose to celebrate my mom. 

I'm so grateful she (Mrs R.O. Oladipupo my mother) could write this book in her life time. She now has a intellectual property, she can pass on to other generation. I wanted her to write this because she is full of wisdom. When you her speak you will be amazed and dazed at her dept of knowledge and wisdom. My late dad use to say he doesn't know which kind of wisdom God put into her brain. 

Other times he would say "what did God put in this your small head...see how you answered that question and you could help those couples. If it's me, I don't know what I will counsel them without them fighting with each other."

Remember I use to ears drop on them and her counselling sessions when couples came to seek counsel.

Mrs Oladipupo was married for 38 years. My mother  has over 40 years of counselling experience both in Nigeria and diaspora.

Yes, she has mentored and counselled countless people around the world. Rachel Olusina Oladipupo You are the best mother.
