Submission literary is the action of accepting or yielding to a superior force or to the will or authority of another person.

When it comes to marriage: Submission is when a wife voluntarily and willingly chooses to put herself under her husband's leadership and authority, in their marital relationship. It therefore pleases God when a wife submits to her husband as it is a sign of humility on her part.

It also means to condescend, letting go of your wish or will for a period, or allow your man have his way.

*Ephesians 5:22-33 “Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Saviour.

 Marriage is the Union between in a matured man and a matured woman. Every couple needs to be matured in these 5 major aspects:

1. Physical Maturity

2. Financial Maturity

3. Emotional Maturity

4. Mental Maturity and

5. Spiritual Maturity

Kindly note that age is not synonymous or equivalent to maturity. 

          Marriage is a covenant and not a contract. Marriage is an assignment and a calling, not a race or competition.

 Marriage is for a lifetime not for a short time. God loves the institution of Marriage, that is why He said a man should not be alone. 

Submission in marriage becomes easy when done in obedience to God. 

In the book of Ephesians 5:25 says Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

In Ephesians 5:21, “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.”

God also admonishes the husband to submit to his wife. 

This essentially means that in order to completely obey the  command of loving his wife, as written in Ephesians 5:25, he needs to submit to her better judgment.

When a woman submits to her husband she gets favour, help, and support from him. He stands by her and announces her good qualities.

A godly man will love his wife even more when she submits to his leadership. When a woman Submits to her husband she would not need to beg for his attention. 

A wife's submission makes her more beautiful and attractive to her husband. When a wife submits he will shower her with gifts and love. When submission is complete, God answers the prayer of both husband and wife faster. While the husband's submission also makes the wife feel accepted and loved.

Submission Is powerful and very few couples understand its secret.
