I am a firm believer in the word of God and I take root in it everyday especially in times like this. Pandemics come and go, the question is who will you be when all of this is over?

Whatever the case, do not only use this time to catch up on NETFLIX and GIST. I'm yet to sit and watch a movie form beginning to the end. That doesn't mean I don't relax or have fun, I do. I watch Cartoons with my kids. I watch short clips of movie with my hubby but right now isn't the time for me to waste on so many movies... Lol.

Rest all you must, but also develop all you can. This is the best and maybe the longest Holidays you may have in a long time. Soon after the Knockdown there will be a massive rush! Are you getting ready for that time?

Is your Business ready for that? What new skills have you learnt in the pass 2 Weeks of Lockdown.

Here are a few tips of mine:

* Learn a skill and it must not be business related.

* Learn to care for your skin yes I was able to read more on this and I also shared tips with someone ladies and I got paid. You should try it too. It was really fun. I tell you it's the Best time to Pamper yourself.

* Learn to makeup ( I have done a course on this due to the Lock down.)

* Learn to cook or bake a cake. There are many platform where you can learn how to cook online form the comfort of your home. It's amazing what you can achieve with the internet these days. Try this out and I would love to hear your success story.

* Learn how to move your business online. This is the best idea here. Because the world of business is changing at the speed of light. And you have to be ready to move with it so you are not left behind.

* Learn digital marketing skills like (Copy writing, ADs creation, Sales funnel development, Sales closing, sales prospecting online, Writing captions that convert etc)

* Learn to lose weight and keep it off. I started a  regular routine now since I can't go to the gym. I do my exercise at home and it's really fun because my kids are involved. We dance to gospel music of our choice till we set a new record. You should try it out too.

* Learn to dance. You can use YouTube videos to learn dancing and have fun while you are at it.

* Learn to monetize your Knowledge and business online. I super love this!  I have been doing this for a while now and it's amazing how much you can earn with the know you have.

This global lock-down is a leveler of time. We are all trapped in the same time loop. This is an opportunity to EMERGE and be ready for POST COVID-19 RUSH. The rush is coming! It will be fierce, like a crusade rush some people will be trampled upon and others will emerge with torn outfits while some unfazed.

Lucrative business You Can Start In Nigeria.

Written by Victoria Yoosuff

There are many businesses today that you can start with 100k for Less in Nigeria.
Here are a few that won't require much experience.  With Determination and hard work you will surely make it.

1. Bedsheet/Beddings Production.

This is one business that is very lucrative. You could either buy and resell or you go to the Market yourself. Pick good designs of bed sheets.Get a tailor to see it for you. Package it well and marketing and sales begins.

2.Ready to Wear:

A sweet side hustle. Relax you don't need to see the clothes yourself. There are tailors in Abuja, Kano, Lagos will be more than happy to have clothes to sew. If you are a fashionista get some fabrics get a tailor or two to design ready to wear. Package it well and off you go. Marketing to working class ladies who are to busy to go through the hoodies of getting a good tailor.

3. E-Payments and POS Business:

Right now this is the fastest growing business. You can a get POS machine from your Bank, and activate online banking: If you live in a place where banks aren’t much you can handle e-payments for people and make your small change. I paid someone N200 to withdraw 10k. I use POS most of the time just so I can avoid the queue at the ATM and banks.

4. Fairly Used Goods/ Second Hand Items

Fairly used goods such as Jeans, Tops, t-shirts, shoes etc. They can be sourced at Badagry, even Cotonou. With 100k you can pick or settle 1st Grade and resell and in no time you will have enough money to start buying bale of second hand clothes. You can even go a step further,  aash then and pack neatly. Marketing is all it takes, you’ll sell and see your money multiply.

5. Cooking:

You can cook a variety of meals well and apply customer service, People will pay good money for your services, You can run this from home.

6. Cakes and Confectionery:

This is one business that always comes to play, people celebrate, and bakers are always consulted. I started my baking with less than 50k, and with time I purchased other things bit by bit.

7. Aso-Oke Beading and Stoning and Auto Gele :

Embellished Aso-Oke Beading and Stoning has become in vogue now, and this is another sweet business one can start with 100k. You just have to learn how to bead and unlock your creative mind. Also Auto Gele has become even more fashionable.

8. Bead Making:

Bead making requires training, passion, creativity, unique designs and styles, then adequate marketing. Thank God for Social Media. Advertising has become so easy.  You absolutely don’t need 100k to start this.

9. Barber:

This is another profitable small-scale business. The beautiful thing about this is you bring your services to your clients for an extra token above regular. The starting capital to get the equipment is very minimal, a clipper and a pair of scissors.

10. Tutorial Classes:

No matter your age, this is another well-paying job, either as part-time or full-time. Many families are willing to spend what it takes for their children’s success and there’s one subject you’re well versed at. Just close the gap, meet their need for a fee.

11. Cyber Cafe:

There has been extensive coverage of internet and the fact that people can assess it on their phones, Do you know how much applicants pay just to have Jamb applications filled online? You need a good system, printer & ISP. People pay as much as 1k per application.

12. Online Classes

With the vast improvement in technology and social media, you can start hosting classes online. You could use WhatsApp groups. All you need is Data, good phone and information. You can teach people on a closed group on anything of your choice.

13. Production Of Drinks and Small Chops:

Smoothies,Zobo, Kunu,  cocktail, small chops, cupcakes and chinchin! These are constantly in high demand all over the country and even abroad. With marketing branding and packaging you are sure to make it big.

15. Popcorn:

Popcorn is what we buy every time. Bags of corn, Nylon Sugar, Salt & Butter. The beauty of this is when properly made, its aroma will attract its customers. Popcorn can be served anywhere. It costs less than N50 to make a pack of popcorn.

15. Re-Invest Your seed Capital in an existing business.

Not everyone has the head for business but they can sniff opportunities. You can always sow your money as operating capital and draft an agreement on profit sharing. You can at least support your investment by bringing customers so the business can thrive. Market it on all your social media pages and who knows. Famzhi Investment is an opportunity you don't wanna miss.

I would love to hear from you if this was helpful in anyway. Kindly leave a comment below.

Who Should I Marry? By Victoria Yoosuff

Who Should I Marry?
By Victoria Yoosuff

Marriage is a union between a mature man and a mature woman. It is ordained by God Almighty. It is not a union between the teenagers or children. It is for those who know that they are mature and can take the responsibility of another adult in their life, space, and in their time.

It is very key to go with a manual of any product to use it effectively. To understand its use and functions you need the manual. The Manual of a product tells you so much about the functions, responsibility the button to press for a particular thing t happen. In the same vein, you need the Bible which is our Manual to successful marriage. It contains many story guidelines on how to succeed in your marital pursuit. It also tells us how many failed and many others succeeded in their marriage.

It's important to know what is expected from the man and woman before going into marriage. It is also great for you to know how to choose a life partner.
Some people see marriage as necessary evil. It’s the most activity they have to carry out,  because they have finished their higher education and now have a good job. They feel the next thing is for them to marry.
Some others go into marriage as a contract. If it works they stay, but if it doesn't then walk away.

Marriage should not be seen as an escape route from all your problems in life. Marriage can not solve your problem. If you are not happy as a single marriage can not complete you. Marriage is going to amplify what you already carry. If you were dirty before you will still be dirty after marriage. If you were fulfilled and confident about yourself, your confidence would likely increase.

Please note marriage is not going to make you complete or happy.  If you are not complete in yourself as single it is not marriage that will complete you.

Your single years is not just a waiting time. It is a time to prepare yourself, equip yourself in all ways possible. You need to be ready for the task ahead. To be a lover to a total stranger is not an easy task. To submit cook for your family two or three times a day is no joke.

I met Joy some years ago in the university. She was planning of getting married and I asked her some questions about marriage what was her view. What her goals were and what they have planned to achieve? I was dazed and very disappointed by her reply. She said she plans of marrying her school sweetheart.

They had not made plans of where they will leave, what their goals were. She said all that will take care of itself after we get married in three months.
I could not hold myself, I had already screamed before I knew it. Their plan was to get married soon after they graduated without jobs, skills, no investment in place.
They had not define their roles expectations and boundaries. They made no plans for their finance. We had a long talk that day and the next and she later told me she had to cancel plans to marry after school. They now agreed to get a job and save for some months before their wedding.

You cannot marry and have a happy home without money. Without a regular inflow of cash, you cannot have a successful home. One or both parties must be working.
Marriage doesn’t guarantee happiness, because many ladies feel when I just get married I will be happy.

Marriage in itself would not make you happen. Marriage cannot make you fulfilled. If you want to happy look for happiness outside marriage. You should create your happiness.  This means that you have other things that should make you happy. The one and surest way to be happy and remain happy is God. Many things like food, money, sex, drugs, fame, promotion, children, spouse, and many more can make you happy for a while. But only God can give you lasting joy and happiness. Therefore if you are looking for love find God. Only God can help you to be the right person and help you choose right.

Please note is very important that you create your happiness. You own it to yourself to be happy. No man or woman can guaranty you of your happiness. After you, have God. You have to do what makes God and you happy. If you wait for your spouse, you may wait for a long time.

Here are a few tips:

1. RESPECT
Respect is very important in any relationship. Therefore never marry anyone who you cannot respect. Because
"Respect" is reciprocal!!  I love to say if you respect yourself, you will be respected.

Have self-worth! Don't belittle yourself. Have a standard of who you want and what you stand for. What you will accept and what you would not. Respect yourself enough to know who should be among your friends. Any man who requires you to sleep with him before marriage isn't for you. Wait for your man. Wait for that man who will treat you as his Queen.
Don't manage a guy who will treat you like garbage.

2. EDUCATION: It is very important to have a teachable heart.
Marry someone ready to learn. Someone ready to be corrected. Many situations will happen over and over that you will have to correct each other. In your relationships seek people or a lady or a guy who is ready to be corrected. Education isn't only about school. Because we have formal and informal education. So it's not only about certificates but have you trained yourself? Get educated about what to expect in Marriage. Don't go there blindfolded.

3. PREPARE
"Passionately prepare." Someone once said to me "I don't need to read I know all about marriage." And I had a good laugh because it's a known fact that "if you don't, plan you have planned to fail. "

https://youtu.be/pxJllEw1Coc

Marriage is a lifetime journey that you have to prepare well for.  Read books,  attend seminars. Ask questions. Be determined you want to know what marriage is about. Have a teachable heart and be humble enough to learn at every point in time. Never assume you know it all. I still read about marriage even though I've been married for many years.
